Seven feared dead in blast outside Indian embassy in Kabul

Kabul, July 7: At least seven people were feared dead in Kabul when a large explosion took place this morning outside the Indian embassy.

According to the local police, the blast was carried out by a suicide bomber, a BBC report said and added that the causalities had not been confirmed yet.

Smoke was coming from the scene of the blast, the report further said.

After that blast, additional guards and barriers were posted on the tree-lined street, and police cordoned off the area.

According to witnesses, the bomber appeared to have targeted people queuing for visas. (ANI)
