Washington, Mar 22 : President Barack Obama has criticized former Vice President Dick Cheney over claims that plans to close the prison at Guantanamo will make America less safe, and said holding detainees for years on end with no trials is "unsustainable."

President Obama fired back at Cheney over the former vice president's claim in a CBS News interview for "60 Minutes."

Brussels, Mar. 22 : Raising serious concerns over the terror safe havens in Pakistan, which are being utilized by different terror outfits to carry out their activities across the world, the US's Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke has said that Pakistan it self should act to tackle this menace.

Holbrooke denied that the US or NATO forces would march-in to Pakistani territory from the Afghan side to take-up the issue.

Indian Wells, California  - Andy Murray bids for his third title of the season after setting up a final with world number 1 Rafael Nadal at the Indian Wells Masters on Saturday.

Murray stunned error-prone second seed Roger Federer 6-3, 4-6, 6- 1, marking his fourth consecutive victory over the former dominator of the sport since losing to the Swiss in the US Open final six months ago.

Indian Wells, California  - Roger Federer suffered a fourth straight humiliation at the hands of Andy Murray on Saturday with the Scot running away with the third set to reach the final of the Indian Wells Masters 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.

Federer has not beaten world number 3 Murray since the US Open final six months ago. In the interim, the Scot has won showdowns at Madrid, Shanghai, Doha and now in the Californian desert.

Murray will await the winner from 2007 champion Rafael Nadal and American Andy Roddick, who leads the ATP with victories this season on 23.
