Glenmark Generics’ arm begins marketing of ‘Morphine Sulfate’ in US Glenmark Generics Ltd's US subsidiary (GGI) has notified that the company has started distribution of Morphine Sulfate Oral Concentrate Solution in the U.S. market through a licensing pact with a U.S. based pharmaceutical development company. 

The latest introduction will be the fifth product offered by Glenmark in the segment of pain management.

The company will market Morphine Sulfate Oral Concentrate Solution in three presentations, which is indicative for the relief of severe acute and severe chronic pain.

Punj Lloyd arm enters into a Joint Venture with Saudi Arab-based DayimPunj Lloyd Group, a leading engineering procurement & construction (EPC) and project management services company has informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sembawang Engineers & Constructors Pte Ltd (Sembawang) has entered into a JV with Dayim Al-Haditha (Dayim).

Under the arrangement, Sembawang will hold 49 per cent stake while Dayim will hold 51 per cent stake in the joint venture company christened “Dayim-Sembawang Engineering LLC”.

CESC to invest Rs 2000 crore in next 5 years under its expansion planRPG Group company CESC Ltd has decided to spend Rs 2000 crore in 3-5 years for strengthening its distribution network.

Recently, the company has tied-up with Singapore-based SP Global Solution (SGPC) for technical assistance in revamping its distribution system.  

Under the arrangement, SPGC, a subsidiary of Singapore Power Group, will offer three-fold consultancy for a year, which will involve strategic planning, technology application and process standardization for the 567-km licensed area of CESC.

Tech Mahindra Opens Sixth CoE In UK With the intention to cater to an increasing European and North American clientele, Tech Mahindra, India's sixth largest software exporter, has opened up its sixth centre of excellence in South Tyneside, UK.

The provider of solutions and services to the telecommunications industry has invested £3 million invested during phase-I of the project, while another £2 million will be invested during phase-II.

The new centre would generate 500 new jobs over the next three years.
