Van Damme’s New Action Comedy - JCVD Jean-Claude Van Damme's new action comedy JCVD has the Muscles From Brussels playing a version of himself i. e. a Belgian actor caught up in a random bank robbery, in what one can only assume is a semi-autobiographical movie. There are some funny moments in the beginning, admittedly; however, soon as the movie begins to get serious, one finds them quickly tapering off.

Daniel Craig backs a black Bond after Obama win

Daniel CraigLondon, November 6: Following the historic victory of Barack Obama in the US Presidential elections, Daniel Craig says the world should be prepared to see a ‘coloured 007’.

The 40-year-old, who was himself the target of much criticism for being the first ‘blonde Bond’, humoured the idea at a press conference before the Italian premier of his latest Bond film, ''Quantum of Solace''.

“After Barack Obama's victory I think we might have reached the moment for a coloured 007,” the Telegraph quoted him as telling the Agi news agency.

Paul McCartney to ‘receive MTV’s ‘Ultimate Legend Award’ from Bono’

And U2's lead singer Bono has flown down to Liverpool to present the award to the ex-Beatle.

“Channel chiefs have been in a massive quandary as to who to present the award to Liverpool’s most famous son,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“It is a first ever for MTV Europe to create a gong like this. It’s a one-off,” the source added.

Pete Doherty blasts Sir Elton John for disastrous Live 8 performa

London, Nov 6: English musician Pete Doherty still seems to be angry with rock/pop singer Sir Elton John over their disastrous Live 8 performance in 2005, for he has blasted the latter for it.

Doherty got the blame for doing a disastrous rendition of T Rex’s ‘Children Of The Revolution’ while singing it with John in 2005, when he forgot the words and staggered on stage in smudged guy liner and a sailor jacket.

The Babyshambles member has hit back saying that it was John’s band that was responsible for the mess.

“What a bunch of f****** w******. What a bunch of sausage sucking, session, slaphead, ponytailed p*****, you know?” the Sun quoted him as saying.

Daniel CraigLondon, November 6: Daniel Craig had bacon sarnies brought in from the UK for breakfast while filming for his latest Bond film ‘Quantum of Solace’ in Italy, according to reports.

The 40-year-old, who was recently deemed as the ‘greatest’ 007 Agent by the producer of the series, Michael G. Wilson, is said to be crazy for bacon ‘sarnies’.

The sixth actor to portray the fictional secret agent Bond reportedly insisted on having English breakfast and had vans loaded with breakfast food sent from home.
