Big Boss participant, Jade Goody, has been diagnosed with grievous stage 2 cervical cancer.

Jade’s doctors fear that a big tumor on her womb may have extend to her bloodstream increasing the chance of secondary tumours.

The 27-year-old Jade, who left the Indian version of "Big Brother" called "Bigg Boss" last week after being informed of the cancer diagnosis, has to go through an urgent hysterectomy, and follow it up with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which will result in hair loss.

Ace actor-director Kamal Haasan has announced that his upcoming flick ‘Marmayogi’ will be produced under his banner in association with Pyramid Saimira.

Kamal Haasan said, “We have signed an agreement with Pyramid Saimira and any news to the contrary is a slur on our bonafide partnership. Media reports contrary to this business deal struck between Raj Kamal Films International and Pyramid Saimira Group are inaccurate and immature.”

First regional Bengali entertainment channel, Star Jolsha, was launched on Thursday by Star India Private Limited.

An array of programs including fiction, non-fiction, mythology, movies and reality shows will be telecast on this new channel.

Star India chief executive officer Uday Shankar feels that they will create a revolution in Bengali entertainment with the launching of Star Jolsha.

“The Bengali regional genre has shown a substantial growth in the past two years in comparison with other regional entertainment markets and with this new channel we will try to bring a new level of diversity to the world of entertainment,” informed J.C.Giri, regional channel head, Star India.
