Hilfenhaus, White to play for Australia in Adelaide ODI

Ben HilfenhausAdelaide, Jan. 25 : Pace bowler Ben Hilfenhaus and leg-spinning all-rounder Cameron White will play for Australia in the fourth one-day match against South Africa at the Adelaide Oval on Monday.

According to Fox Sports, they will replace Nathan Bracken and Nathan Hauritz.

Bracken withdrew from the squad with a calf problem, while Hauritz was excluded after being subjected to some heavy punishment during the match at the SCG on Friday night.

Pakistan drops to fifth after series los to Sri Lanka

Pakistan, Sri LankaDubai, Jan. 25 : Pakistan has slipped one place in the Reliance Mobile ICC ODI Championship table following its 2-1 series defeat at home to Sri Lanka.

Although Shoaib Malik's team won the first ODI of the series in Karachi thanks to a brilliant unbeaten century by Salman Butt, it then proceeded to lose the second and third matches after impressive displays by the visitors.

That means Pakistan loses three ratings points and drops below New Zealand into fifth place on the table, an ICC press release said.

Oz pacer Clark says he plans to play on till 2013

Outlining his plans to play Test cricket until 2013, Clark, who has recovered from elbow surgery, took the most significant step in his bid to tour South Africa when he turned out for grade side Sydney University against Sutherland on Saturday.

Clark''s comeback coincided with that of Andrew Symonds, who appeared for Gold Coast Dolphins after undergoing knee surgery following the Boxing Day Test.

The 14-man squad for the series, which begins on February 1 in Perth, was named on Thursday and includes newcomers Trent Boult and Brendon Diamanti.

Veterans Scott Styris and Jacob Oram will both miss the series with injury, meaning the side looks inexperienced.

But that hasn''t stopped Moles, who has been in charge of the side for almost two months, from faithfully sticking by his unfancied young guns.

Symonds had a meal and beers before going on the program, during which he was slurring his words. He is likely to deny his behaviour was inappropriate, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
