CBI’s report on Mulayam has 288 mistakes: Amar Singh

amar singh, MulayamNew Delhi, Feb. 10,: Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh on Tuesday attacked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for its report into the disproportionate assets case against former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, and said it contained 288 mistakes.

Singh also demanded a judicial inquiry to find out how these mistakes had occurred in the third status report of CBI.

"The CBI''s status report to the Supreme Court in the case has 288 mistakes. Not one, two or three, it has 288 mistakes," Singh said.

CBI LogoNew Delhi, Feb. 10, : The Supreme Court on Tuesday criticized the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for acting on the behest of the Central Government in the disproportionate assets case against former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Justice Altmas Kabir and Justice Cyriac Joseph, condemned the CBI for approaching the Central Government for advice on the matter, saying: "Since when has the CBI started taking advice from the Government? Why didn''t you come to the court for clarifications?"
