New Delhi, Feb 24: A Delhi court will pronounce the quantum of sentence to former Union Communication Minister Sukhram in connection with a disproportionate assets case on Wednesday.

On February 20, the court had said, Sukhram, a cabinet colleague of Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, amassed disproportionate assets, both movable and immovable, to the tune of Rs 5.36 crore between 1991 and 1996.

New Delhi, Feb. 23 : A United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) report released on Monday focuses on the need to develop manufacturing activity that can help reduce poverty in developing countries.

"This year the theme is how can manufacturing development offer opportunities to low income countries and slow moving middle income countries, what is referred to in the book as ''bottom billion''," said Philippe Scholtes, Representative and Head, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, South Asia.

The left-handed batsman would be featuring in the company's new campaign, `Coca-Cola Open Happiness', to be rolled out this week.

According to a Coca Cola statement, its new campaign is designed to serve as a platform for all integrated marketing initiatives for brand Coca-Cola globally.

Gambhir has been roped for the first in a series of 2009 summer campaign.

Khatkar Kalan (Punjab)/ New Delhi, Feb 23 : Congratulating the team of ''Slumdog Millionaire'' for its resounding success at the Oscars, Home Minister P. Chidambaram today said he would ask the Finance Ministry to exempt from taxation all cash prizes won by A R Rahman at the Oscars.

"If the Oscars carry any cash award, I would recommend to the Finance Minister that it should be exempt from taxation," Chidambaram said while addressing a public function at Khatkar Kalan in Punjab today.
