Health ministry of Sri Lanka has advised all Sri Lankan pilgrims to
take the polio vaccine before visiting India. Sri Lanka has eradicated
polio completely and it has not been reported in the country since
1993. But India has reported many cases of polio and most of the cases
have been reported from the states-- Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. As many
Buddhist places of worship are located in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and a
large number of Sri Lankan Buddhists make pilgrimage in that states,
spokesman said.

According to a Health Ministry spokesman,

It was announced by Motorola today that with an aim to optimize its network, the company’s Multi-Vendor Intelligent Optimization Service (MVIOS) solution has been chosen by Mumbai's BPL Mobile.

Bhargavi, a 25 yr old upcoming Telugu actress was found dead at her Hyderabad residence on Tuesday evening. Another body of an orchestra troupe operator, Praveen Kumar, was found lying next to hers. 

The police recovered a blood-stained dagger, some cyanide powder packed in paper and the suicide note from the site of crime. The suicide note purportedly written by Parveen Kumar stated that disturbances in personal life drove them to suicide. But the police suspect that he first stabbed Bhargavi to death and then committed suicide by consuming cyanide. 

With the aim to tremendously bring down the cost involved in manufacturing the traditional cells; Chinese scientists have developed a fuel cell using alkaline membrane. The cost would be definitely reduced since less expensive metals would be needed.

A fuel cell is basically a device that produces electricity from fuel and nearly all of them use membranes that are acidic. They come with associated parts made of platinum or other rare and expensive metals.

It was informed in an article published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) by Lin Zhuang and his colleagues at Wuhan University's chemistry department that they were successful in developing a membrane that utilized silver and nickel.

After winning Bigg Boss, Ashutosh Kaushik, the much popular dhabawala from Saharanpur, UP, is all set to make an appearance in Big Brother, the original version of the show.
