Telugu Actress Bhargavi Found Murdered In Her ApartmentThe upcoming Telugu actress Bhargavi was found dead with her live-in partner at her Hyderabad residence on Tuesday evening.

The 25-year-old Bhargavi, who had started her career as a television artiste and anchor, had shot to fame through her latest hit Telugu flick ‘Ashta Chemma’.

According to Police report, Bharhavi was stabbed by her close associate Praveen Kumar who committed suicide immediately after killing her.

The USD started a bit better overnight but began to fall off as traders trimmed long positions ahead of today's economic news. This morning's CPI and Housing data was mixed for traders as lower CPI was offset by weaker housing data; the majors began a steady climb into the FOMC rate announcement which of course was the big news of the day. In a surprise move, the FOMC voted unanimously to cut rates a larger than expected 75 BP putting the FF rate at .25% and announcing to the world that the USD is now the cheapest currency on the planet.

Gem and Jewellery exporters seek Concessions from Government

The Gems and jewellery export is likely to suffer yet another blow in December 2008 after a 34% decline to $987 million in November 2008.The reduction in overseas demand has forced the industry to cut production and lay off workers. In a desperate move, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has demanded immediate interim relief to prevent the imminent crisis and loss of over 25-30 per cent of its labour force due to recession enforced layoffs. It wanted banks to provide capital at lower cost which will help them generate fresh orders by diversifying into different markets.
