Jitendranath Goswami, director of the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad, who was also involved in the successful launch of Chandrayaan-1, revealed recently that by 2020, India would be able to send a manned mission to the moon, while by 2012 the second unmanned spacecraft would be ready.

Goswami informed, “If everything goes as per the plan, we will be ready to send a man to moon by 2020.”

With the aim to invent something extraordinary and unique, Intel is creating self-powered microchips. The unique thing about these microchips would be that it could be implanted in the human body, a mobile phone, a building, or anyplace else where people wish to gather information.

During a meeting on Friday with reporters in San Francisco, Intel CTO Justin Rattner described it as “wireless identification and sensing platform,” or WISP and it was among several other technologies described by Rattner during the meeting.

Stupefied by the Congress victories in Delhi and Rajasthan assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh described the victory as "quite unexpected" and "shocking".

Speaking from the BJP headquarters, Rajnath Singh said, "In Delhi the results were quite unexpected and shocking; the Delhi results are surprising as we had expected a majority." Mr. Singh said that the BJP also considered the loss of Rajasthan "unexpected".
