2 More Dies Of H1N1 In IT Hub Bangalore, Death Toll Rises To 66

KarnatakaThe virus of swine flu turned more deadly on Tuesday when two more persons died of it in Bangalore, taking the death toll in the city to 66.

It is learnt that a 38-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man died of the virus in different hospitals of the city on September 25.

However, the swab test results of the two victims confirming their H1N1 status were received on September 29.

With these two deaths, the death toll has reached to 91 in the state.

Apart from this, five more people have tested positive for the swine flu in the city, taking the total confirmed cases of the deadly virus to 1,020 in the state.

It should be mentioned here that Karnataka is the second worst swine flu-hit state after Maharashtra in the country.
