4 more swine flu cases in Andhra, toll reaches 122
Four fresh swine flu cases were reported from Andhra Pradesh, raising the total number of affected persons in the state to 122.
All of these four patients had already been quarantined at their houses.
The state health authorities are trying their best to map out all persons who were in direct contact with these four people and make certain that they underwent screening.
The officials also informed the media persons that the samples of eight persons with swine flu symptoms were sent for diagnosis where six cases were being treated by the doctors at the Government Chest Hospital and another two were being treated at the King Koti hospital.
Meanwhile, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the state government and private hospitals including Apollo Hospitals at Jubilee Hills and Global at L B Nagar, Hyderabad.
As per the signed MoU between the two parties, the private hospitals will allocate ten beds for swine flu patients.
