5-yr-old succumbs to swine flu, death toll rises to 83 in K’taka
Karnataka has recorded its 83rd human swine flu-related death.
The deadly virus turned more deadly as three more people succumbed to H1N1 virus on Wednesday.
Of the 3 cases, 2 were reported in Bangalore, the state capital and one in Udupi.
The health officials informed the media persons that a 5-year-old boy admitted to KMC Manipal died on Tuesday night.
The boy was admitted on the same day in the evening.
It is learnt that the victim was suffering from pneumonia.
The health officials further informed that a 37-year-old man died at a private hospital in Bangalore.
The state capital recorded its second death when 66-year-old male expired at a Government Hospital on the same day.
Apart from this, 17 more people tested positive for swine flu in the state.
