Aamir Khan Wants A Song From Madhumati In Dhobi Ghat

Aamir Khan Wants A Song From Madhumati In Dhobi GhatAamir Khan is one actor in Bollywood, who has always experimented with his films and always tried new and different things. This time, Aamir is willing to use a song from the 1958 movie Madhumati in his wife's film Dhobi Ghat.

Directed by late Bimal Roy, the film starred veteran Dilip Kumar and Vyjayantimala. Aamir wants to incorporate the hit duet `Dil tadap tadap ke keh raha aa bhi jaa' in Kiran Rao's directorial debut movie, which stars Prateik Babbar and Monica Dogra along with Aamir Khan. Aamir thinks the song can enhance the scene in Kiran's film.

According to a source, "The production house of Aamir is in talks with Bimal Roy's daughter Rinki Bhattacharya to convince her to offer the rights of the song for Dhobi Ghat. Dilip Kumar and Vyjayantimala were immortalized with this song".

Confirming the news, Rinki Bhattacharya said, "Yes, we are discussing over it and we have no issues to provide the rights for a one-time use. Aamir seems to be very keen to use this song in his film".

The Bollywood perfectionist actor has been able to convince the family of the acclaimed director Bimal Roy. The evergreen song was in the voice of yesteryear hit pair Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh.

If everything is settled, the song will appear with a new look in the film. It is reported that the song will be picturized on Aamir Khan and Roy's family has no objection if Khan remixes the song.

A senior member of Bimal Roy's family said, "Our family has a relation with Aamir's family since the days of Aamir's uncle Nasir Hussain, who was very close friend of Bimal Roy".

Bimal Roy's son, Joy said from London, "We are ready to give Aamir the rights of the song of Madhumati to be used in his wife's directorial debut movie. We have no issues if Aamir wants to use the remixed version of the song in his movie. If this golden era song is made available for the young generation of today, it would be very nice".

Well, it will be a treat for the audience when Aamir comes up with the movie including this golden era song.
