Acer to launch Iconia Tab A501 on AT&T on 18 September Acer is planning to launch its Iconia Tab A501 tablet computer, on September on AT&T's 4G network.

The Iconia Tab A501 features a 10.1-inch WXGA display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and comes with a 1-GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and an integrated GeForce GPU. The tablet measures 10.24 x 6.97 x 0.5 inches and weighs 1.7 pounds, and has an Alpine Silver brushed aluminum chassis.

The tablet also has a 5-MP rear-facing camera and a front-facing 2-MP camera, an HDMI port, full-size USB 2.0, microUSB, and a microSDHC slot. The users will be able to access AT&T 4G mobile broadband connectivity through the carrier's 4G HSPA+ network on the tablet.

The Iconia Tab A501 will be available in 16GB vvariant for $499.99 and in 32GB variant for $549.99. User will also be able to buy the device for $380 with a two-year contract and $35 monthly data plan.
