Acer Unveils P244W LCD Monitor At Computex 2008

Acer has showcased the world’s first 24-inches full high-definition (FHD) Acer Showcases P244W LCD Monitor At Computex 2008wide-screen LCD monitor named, P244W at ‘Computex 2008’ in Taipei.

Targeting gamers, designers, and home-theater enthusiasts, Acer’s newest LCD monitor features 1080p resolution and a 16:9 ratio widescreen.

The newly launched P244W LCD monitor delivers high-class effigies with extreme graphics and splendid video performance.

In order to provide maximum productivity and visual enhancement, the P244W LCD monitor also features Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) for better gradation and fact, mainly for dimmer and brighter views.

Moreover, it backs up a higher contrast ratio of up to 20,000:1, quick response time up to 2ms, and immersive graphics and video display to offer substantial perfection of gray-to-gray level, the most significant aspect in moving-picture viewing experiences.

The P244W is enclosed in a glossy black bezel with a polished black base and shiny silver arm. Its touch-sensitive on-screen display (OSD) maintains the clean and streamlined look.

Moreover, it is compliant with Microsoft Vista OS, and backs HDMIT for projecting HD movies and high-impact gaming. Acer eColor helps in better managing color.

However, the company has not disclosed the pricing and availability details yet.
