Adobe announces new Acrobat version - Acrobat XI

Adobe announces new Acrobat version - Acrobat XIIn a new announcement which underscores Adobe's attempts at facilitating its Acrobat users in editing PDF documents, the company has recently unveiled a new version of Acrobat platform - Acrobat XI - for distribution and collaboration with documents.

The new version of the Acrobat platform is scheduled for release by October-end; and will help the users not only edit PDF documents but will also enable them to get content from Microsoft Office and other similar apps.

In addition, boasting new integration with cloud services for propelling forms-based procedures, the new Acrobat XI version from Adobe has been essentially revamped for assisting the users in handling the increasing amount of information stored in digital documents, as well as supporting the on-the-move users who work with tablets and other mobile devices.

On that front, the new Acrobat XI version provides users with wide-ranging editing tools to increase their ease in unlocking existing PDF content; with the application now having improved integration with Adobe's FormsCentral and EchoSign cloud-based services, which allow the users to fill in and sign forms on iOS- and Android-based mobile devices.

Noting that the new Acrobat version gives users the ability to change content in a fairly simple manner by using easy-to-use editing tools for text and images, Adobe's marketing manager Ali Hanyaloglu said that the increased complexity of working with exhaustive information in online forms has resulted in "productivity hits and a lot of wasted time."
