Adobe Flash 10.1 to make a debut in Android
The much anticipated Adobe platform in Android shall be available very soon as the preview is scheduled on May at the Google I/O conference whilst the release is meant for June in Android Froyo, claim the sources.
Adobe's CTO, Kevin Lynch in an official statement stated that the Flash Player 10.1 for Android phones will be publicised at Google I/O conference and soon after that the a major update Android 2.2 dubbed as Froyo may be rolled out at a closer instance.
It was further confirmed form Google's VP of Engineering, Andy Rubin that Android 2.2 Froyo will bring full Flash support and Android and shall be a pioneer in doing so. Lynch hinted that this move shall shift focus from the ongoing tussle in iPhone Developer Program Agreement.
He concluded by stating that Adobe is bringing in Flash Player (10.1) and AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) to major mobile system players like Google, Microsoft, Palm (HP), Nokia and others.
However with the latest Flash support Google aims for a larger mobile market share, mutually benefiting users and themselves.
