Akmal needs to prove himself innocent for participating in Twenty20
As per the latest media reports, Kamran Akmal, who has been suspected for involvement in match fixing, is being questioned for the same and if in case he is not able to prove his innocence, he will not be taken for the Twenty20 World Championship.
A report in 'The News' quoting sources said that the doubt that Akmal might have intentionally dropped catches during the second Test in Sydney against Australia last month, led the Pakistan squad to suspend the player from the two Twenty20 matches against England in Dubai.
But the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had expressed that because of his flop show in Australia, he was overlooked and talking to media without consulting the Board.
