The post-mortem reports of the famous fashion designer Alexander McQueen reveals that he took a high dose of drugs and slashed his wrists before hanging himself.

The suicide followed after his mother's funeral, reports The Daily Express.

It was found that the 40-year old millionaire designer took a concoction of cocaine, sleeping pills and tranquilizers before succumbing to death by a ceremonial dagger, meat cleaver and kitchen knife.

This act was followed by hanging himself with his belt at his residence in London's Mayfair.

Dr Paul Knapman on behalf of McQueen's death said, "He killed himself while the balance of his mind was disturbed".

The family continues to remember by making every effort to keep his memory alive.
