London - British soul singer Amy Winehouse has disappointed fans again, announcing the cancellation of a comeback concert scheduled for May 31 in London.

Winehouse, 25, is working on her third album on the island of St Lucia. In a statement released by her management, she apologized to fans who had already purchased tickets and said she regretted the fact that she could not perform.

British media reported Saturday morning that the singer, known for hits like Rehab and Back to Black had been hospitalized on St Lucia.(dpa)
