Another Car Manufacturer Waiting To Enter Singur: WBThe West Bengal government would provide all assistance to entrepreneurs who want to invest in the state. This is assured by the transport minister of West Bengal, Subhas Chakraborty. 

The minister said that one more car manufacturer is in touch with the government for setting up a car manufacture plant in the state. However, he declined to disclose the name of the investor group. The government would sign a MoU for this project within a month.

Mr. Chakraborty said that the Singur episode is a part of history and the coming entrepreneurs are aware of the scenario. The government is committed to utilize the acquired land for industrial activities.

It is to be noted that the statement of the minister came after the meeting of top brass of the communist party held on Friday. Meanwhile the statement is also being attached with the recent visit of state industry minister Nirupam Sen to Delhi and Punjab. He is believed to visit some industrialists for proposed projects in the state.
