Assam Police nab top ULFA leader

Sibsagar (Assam), Nov. 20 : Police in Sibsagar, Assam, have arrested a top ULFA leader Ram Singh.
Shymal Prasad Saikia, the area''s Superintendent of Police, said that Singh had taken shelter with his wife and four-month-old son at a relative''s house in Bakhor Bengena village, when a joint team of army and police apprehended him on Tuesday night. He and his family, besides a relative Atul Buragohain, are presently being interrogated, he said.
Trained from Kachin in Myanmar, Singh was a terror in upper Assam. He was also a bomb expert. (ANI)
