Australia elects to bat first against Pakistan
Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has won the toss and elected to bat first in the third one day international match of the five ODI matches series against Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday.
Mohammad Aamer has not been included in the Pakistan squad due to groin injury and Fawal Alam has replaced him for this match. Ryan Harris has been included in the Australian squad as Peter Siddle was not completely fit to play in the match.
Australian team will be looking to wrap up the series by winning this match as Australian team is currently leading the five one day international matches series 2-0. On the other hand, Pakistan will have to win this match to stay alive in the series.
With this match, Younis Khan has become the 12th Pakistan player to play in 200 ODI matches. Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Yusuf are the only two players to play more than 200 ODI matches in the current Pakistan squad.
