Ballarpur Industries reports 86% rise in consolidated net

Bilt LogoThe largest paper producer of India Ballarpur Industries (Bilt) has announced its April-June quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11.

According to the company, it has registered a significant rise in its net profit figure in the reviewed quarter.

Ballarpur Industries has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 83.02 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010 which is almost 85.9% of the consolidated net profit figure of its corresponding quarter in the last fiscal. Ballarpur Industries has informed this in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The consolidated net sales of the company have gone up to Rs 1,076.71 crore during the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2010-11.

There has been an increase of 48.6% in the consolidated net sales of the firm posted in the quarter under review against its like period a year ago.

As per the company officials, the enhancement in the production of the company has helped to post reasonably higher net sales and profit in the June quarter of the ongoing fiscal year.
