BCCI issues show-cause notices to six Indian players

BCCIThe Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued show-cause notices to six Indian players. These players were involved in a pub scrap with fans last Tuesday. They were at Tequila Joe's in St Lucia, West Indies.

As per sources, BCCI secretary N Srinivasan will issue the notice at board president Shashank Manohar's behest. The six players are Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla and Zaheer Khan.

According to secret sources, it has been also learnt that four of these players will not be selected for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour for the Asia Cup next month. These four players may be Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Ashish Nehra and Ravindra Jadeja.

However, the BCCI has given clean chit to the Indian Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Before the board had also cleared that he won't be removed from the captaincy. He will retain his post for all the three formats of the game.

The board has said that it has no issue with the Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Moreover, nobody in BCCI is having any doubt over his integrity.
