Chennai-based BGR Energy Systems Limited, one of the leading Energy equipment suppliers, has secured an order worth Rs 1,633.71 crore from Chattisgarh State Power Generation Company Ltd. (CSPGCL) for the construction of thermal power project.

The company has received the contract for Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Shop fabrication, assembly, inspection, testing, transportation, erection of equipment, Civil and Structural Works, commissioning and guarantee test for the 2x 500 MW coal based Marwa Thermal Power Project.

Ahead of the positive announcement, the shares of the company today settled at Rs 460, up 2% compared to its previous close.

The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 464 and Rs 107 respectively.
