Second seeded Mahesh Bhuapthi and Mark Knowles duo has crashed out of the Aegon International with prize money of euro 450,000 in Eastbourne on Wednesday.

Bhupati-Knowles duo lost their quarterfinal match against unseeded American-Slovakian pair by 6-7 (4), 4-6 and the match lasted for one hour and 17 minutes.

Paes and his Czech partner Doulphy were also defeated by Polish pair of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski 1-6, 6-7 (3) on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Paes-Doulphy duo has been seeded 3rd and Bhupati-Knowles duo has been seeded 4th for the men's doubles event of the Wimbledon Championships -- the third Grand Slam of the year which is going to start from 22 June while American Bryan brothers Bob and Mike were seeded first followed by Canadian Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia.

Sania Mirza and her Taipei partner Chia-jung Chuang have been seeded 15th in the women's double event of the Wimbledon Championship.
