New Delhi, Jan 7 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s national office bearers are meeting here Thursday, the first since Nitin Gadkari took over as party chief.

The meeting is to decide the date and venue of the party's national council meeting, a party source said.

The meeting is being attended by senior leader L. K. Advani and former president Rajnath Singh apart from other office bearers.

The national council meeting would formally endorse Gadkari's name as party president for a three-year term. (IANS)
