BMW planning to launch “BMW X1” in India next year
The performance and luxury vehicles manufacturer based in German – BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) is gearing up to launch its new model BMW X1 in India. BMW has confirmed that it is planning to roll out BMW X1 in the Indian market next year.
BMW has told that BMW X1 is a Sports Activity Vehicle rather than a Sports Utility Vehicle. BMW has released images of its new compact BMW X1. BMW has also declared that BMW X1 will be launched in both petrol and diesel variants.
BMW has also confirmed that BMW X1 will debut in Europe this fall. BMW has disclosed that in Europe, BMW X1 will be rolled out in four engine variants – one gasoline and three diesels. BMW X1 will be available with rear-wheel drive or xDrive, all-wheel-drive system.
According to BMW, the diesel variant of BMW X1 has achieved a fuel consumption rating of 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers during European testing and a top speed of 200 kilometers an hour.
