Bombay Rayon to setup two manufacturing units in Maharashrtra, stock up 3%

Mumbai-based Bombay Rayon Fashions has informed that it will set up two manufacturing units in the integrated Textile Parks at Islampur and Latur in Maharashtra.

The government has sanctioned the project under the Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP). The project is entitled to get subsidy of 40 per cent of total infrastructure cost for setting up the same by the SPVs.

Government had started the integrated textile parks scheme based on public-private partnerships to enable textile units to meet international environmental and social standards.

Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited, together with its subsidiaries, operates in the textile industry. The company designs, manufactures, and sells a range of fabrics, apparel, and home textiles.

Shares of the company gained Rs 11, or 3%, to settle at Rs 354. The total volume of shares traded was 134,083 at the BSE. (Thursday)
