Bopanna-Qureshi ousted from Malaysian Open

Kuala Lumpur, Sep 30 : India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi blew up a set advantage to go down fighting 6-2, 6-7(4), 11-13 to Russia's Igor Kunitsyn and Czech Jaroslav Levinsky in the $947,750 Malaysian Open tennis quarterfinals here Wednesday.
The India-Pakistan wildcard pair committed nine double faults as compared to their opponent's five and were broken thrice in the one hour and 33 minutes match.
Bopannna is still alive in the singles where he is slated to meet fourth-seeded and World No. 12 Fernando Gonzalez of Chile.(IANS)
