Brazil angry over Kaka questioning

Brazil angry over Kaka questioning Bloemfontein, South Africa  - The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) Monday blasted Italian and Spanish journalists for questioning Kaka about his move from AC Milan to Real Madrid.

Despite requests to keep queries focused on the Confederations Cup and World Cup, journalists have continued to ask the midfielder about the 94-million-dollar move.

Kaka had stated flatly that he was done speaking on the matter, while coach Dunga was clearly annoyed about the line of questioning, and FIFA again warned the journalists - in five languages.

In a statement on its website, CBF said: "The Spanish and Italian journalists insisted on disrespecting the agreed procedures. This impolite behaviour got in the way of the interests of the Brazilian and Egyptian journalists that followed the rules.

"The CBF regrets the actions of the Spanish and Italian journalists who refused to do as agreed."

Julio Cesar was questioned about Kaka's move by an Italian, but he brushed off the topic before Kaka responded seriously: "I have said everything I need to about that. I only want to think and talk about the Confederations Cup."

At a press conference the day before, four Brazilian players - Robinho, Luis Fabiano, Maicon and Felipe Melo - were also grilled about the transfer and quickly grew tired of the questions.

Maicon, who has also been linked with a move from Inter Milan to Real, made light of the topic. "Really I think it's worth (paying that much), but then the money didn't come out of my pocket."(dpa)
