BSNL has announced that it will focus the broad band facilities in the rural areas of the country soon. The state-run organization has declared that it has introduced several user-friendly plans in the market. These plans will help the company to promote rural broadband in India.

As per the BSNL officials, the company is looking forward to come up with few other plans for the rural broadband and theses are expected to attract huge number of customers.

The company has also informed that the rural plans are available in two distinct schemes as usage-based tariffs and unlimited usage schemes. The rates of these services are reasonably cheaper than that of the tariffs in the metros and the cities.

It has been informed that the plans start from the monthly fixed plan of Rs. 99. This includes the BBG Rural USOF 150 Plan in it. In this plan, the user can have 1 GB free usage on every month. The download speed will be up to 2Mbps.

It has also informed that there will several combo plans which will allow the rural customers to have broadband and landline at the same time.
