The textile and real estate firm, Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Co Ltd disclosed share pledged by investors following the directives of market regulator, the Security and Exchange Board of India to divulge shares pledged by promoters of all listed companies.

The promoters of firm pledged 12.88 per cent or almost 5 million shares, as per its revelation before the National Stock exchange (NSE) under Regulation 8A of Securities and Exchange Board of India.

Fujifilm has announced its new 10-megapixel FinePix Z30. The exclusive features include fairly basic ultracompact camera with a 3X optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD.

There are some other features too which makes it quite different from other youth-oriented models.

It has come to light that Nvidia is working with Google on Android phones as it turns off its Windows-Mobile-only strategy.

An announcement was made at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by Nvidia that with the aim to get its Tegra processor into Android phones, it has started working with Google and the Open Handset Alliance. Basically, Tegra is a system-on-a-chip, which integrates an ARM applications processor and Nvidia's GeForce graphics silicon, among other functions. The motive is to bring vigorous PC-like graphics to small devices.

Indian liquor maker United Spirits, with market value of about $1.4 billion, indicates to increase stake offer by about 15 per cent to Diageo, the world's largest alcoholic drinks group, in order to successfully close the talks between two companies and to pay debt of $1.2 billion from its purchase of Scottish spirits maker Whyte & Mackay in 2007.

Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communication (RCOM) has signed an agreement with US-based Ditech Networks to deploy the latter's voice enhancement solution on its recently unveiled GSM network.

The deal is estimated to be worth Rs 50 crore and deployment is expected to enhance voice clarity on Reliance Mobile by approximately 30 per cent'.

Under the arrangement, RCOM will initially deploy Ditech's voice enhancement solutions across Top 10 towns and then extend coverage across other locations.

It should be noted that on Thursday, RCom has already commenced trial runs on Ditech's network
