Tatas To Set Up Aerospace Unit In APTATA group would set up an aerospace and precision engineering unit near Hyderabad in Andhra Paradesh. The state had also tried to lure TATA for the relocation of Nano car plant. But Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi successfully captured the small car project. 

The proposed aerospace and precision engineering unit would be one of its kinds in India. TATA would develop precision engineering systems for aviation industry, advanced surveillance systems as well as MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) operations. It would work in co operation with DRDL, DRDO, RCI, DLRL, BDL and BHEL.

These newly launched Indian stores would sell the company's consumer range of products, which includes Inspiron, Studio and XPS.

The main feature of the new Dell exclusive stores is that it keeps on offering the benefits of Dell’s direct model with the added benefit of retail availability to browse, touch and feel the product, and then place an order for the favored model.

Reliance Money acquires 15% stake in HKMExAnil Ambani-run Reliance Money has acquired 15 pc stocks in Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange (HKMEx). Reliance Money is the retail branch of Reliance Capital. It would be the first ever Indian company to acquire a stake in an international exchange. HKMEx is likely to start services in the first quarter of 2009.

Tatas Acquire 50.3% Stakes In Norwegian Miljo GrenlandTATA group owned Tata Motors has acquired a 50.3% stakes in Miljo Grenland/Innovasjon for Rs 9.4 crore. TATA Motors's UK arm would provide the required funds for the acquisition. Miljo is a Norway-based electric vehicle major. It was founded in 1997 to provide zero emission vehicles. It would start a new era of battery-operated vehicles in the Indian market. India is still lagging behind in electric vehicles category due to non-availability of required technology.
