One of the leading software and solutions company, CA Technologies has announced that it will be opening a center in Hyderabad.

The New-York based company said that he center will be state-of-art and will be built up in an area of 5lakh sq ft. And for the same, it will be spending $30 million. The campus will be having a capacity to take in 1,000member over and above the original count of 1600 people.

This will be the single largest R&D facility of the company and will be used to produce close to 30 per cent of the company's global product base.

Besides this, the CA has also decided that it will earmark $600 million for the purpose of R&D. The products thus produced will be used by the company to tap other firms who want to use cloud computing and virtualisation management services.

Also, close to $500 million has been left aside by CA for the purpose of M&A. For the same, it will be targeting the companies which are relatively new and have better technology. It already has a list of 250-300 such firms.
