Perhaps the improving sentiment of the Indian market has attracted lot of players to be back with their bullish plans and the latest to arrive is Capgemini.

According to the recently announced plans of the company, it will be hiring close to 500 people in the Business Information Management (BIM) service line, taking the total number to 2,000 by end-this year. Capgemini's Global Leader, Business Information Management, Paul Nannetti, said that the company as of now has 1,500 professionals on board and it will be hiring 500 more by December 2010.

It is to be mentioned here that the company has close to 5,000 people on its payrolls globally as far as the BIM Service line is concerned. Moreover, Paul also mentioned the fact that the company has seen a 48% growth in the BIM line in the first six months this year and it is expecting a 52% growth by the end of the calendar year of 2010.

For the record, the Indian subsidiary of the company handles close to 70 clients which includes names from India as well as the rest of the world.
