London, May 23 : Christian Bale made the ultimate goof-up while shooting for his first scene as Batman-he was caught sleeping on the set.

The British actor has revealed that he is so calm during movie shoots that he''s often found snoozing when the cameras roll.

"I fall asleep on sets all the time. I''ve done it in the middle of scenes," the Daily Star quoted him as telling GQ magazine.

"In Batman Begins, in the first scene I had with Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, I fell asleep. I was meant to be waking up, so I laid down and just fell asleep.

"I didn''t hear ''action'' so Michael and Morgan were talking and I was supposed to join in. I woke up with Michael Caine poking me in the ribs, going, ''Look at that! He''s bloody fallen asleep,''" he added. (ANI)
