Toshiba to launch Thrive on 10 July in USThe Japanese electronics maker, Toshiba is planning to launch its Thrive tablet computer in the US on 10 July.

Toshiba Thrive tablet’s pre-orders will begin on June 13th at Best Buy, along with the usual "office superstores" and "e-commerce players," and will launch in the US market.

Toshiba said that its basic model will be priced at $429 comes with wi-fi ability and is targeted at consumers who use tablets at home. The 10.1-inch tablet runs Android 3.1, and comes in three sizes: 8GB ($429), 16GB ($479), and 32GB ($579).
