Confidante says delay in Bhutto’s murder probe could harm PPPLarkana (Pakistan), Dec. 28 : Political secretary of Benazir Bhutto has warned that further delay in late Pakistan prime minister’s assassination probe could harm the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), as party workers were tired of waiting for unearthing of the facts.

Naheed Khan, a close confidant of Bhutto, told reporters at Garhi Khuda Bukhsh Bhutto that it was surprising that Bhutto’s murderers had not been unmasked yet.

“The basic issue is not the identity of the assassins but the exposure of the financers of the murder and other characters involved in the conspiracy,” The Dawn quoted her, as saying.

She also blamed the Asif Ali Zardai Government for failing to unveil the faces of the conspirators.

Further, she said the government had made a political blunder by declining to defend the National Reconciliation Ordinance. (ANI)
