The Daily's iPad-only app for newspaper is now available in the UK for customers and can be found on Apple iTunes.

The Daily launched, rather quietly on the UK iTunes Store. A report from the Guardian noted the availability of the app and said that there are some teething problems with the e-paper. The app was originally scheduled to launch in June.

The Daily is run by News Corp, which also owns The News Of The World, the Sun and the Times. Billionaire businessman and the owner of News Corp, Rupert Murdoch has said at the time of The Daily's launch in the US that the company is targeting 15 million people in the US, who were planning to buy a tablet computer this year.

The Daily UK is available for 69p per issue or £27.99 for an annual subscription.
