Dark Void released with new PhysX effects

Dark-Void-GameThe Sci-fi game Dark Void has recently been released with some new PhysX effects. Airtight Games and Capcom released the game for the PC, Microsoft Xbox 360, and Sony PlayStation 3 on 19th January of this year. Dark void is basically a Sci-fi game which is set in the World War 2 era.

The sci-fi veteran composer Bear Mccarthy, who is best known for his work on Battlestar Galectica, has composed the music for Dark Void.

Dark Void has been criticized by the critics on the lack of depth in its lackluster flight mechanics. The game has got a highest professional score of 7 out of 10 and earned Metacritic rating of 57.

Speaking about the game content, Dark Void is a third person shooter game, which is hybrid of foot combat and aerial combat and has been set in the scenario of World War 2. The most exciting feature of the game includes the jetpack, which is used in the aerial dogfights with actual aircraft.

Dark Void operates on a modified Unreal Engine 3 platform and uses DirectX 9.0c gaming API. The game consists of 8 video cards collectively from NVDIA and AMD. From NVIDIA the cards are GeForce GTX 295, the GeForce GTX 285, the GeForce GTX 275, and the GeForce GTS 250, whereas from AMD it has ATI Radeon HD 5870, the Radeon HD 5850, the Radeon HD 5770, and the Radeon HD 5750.

The most exciting feature of the game is the graphics. The game environments are lush with beautiful flora and the structure seems to be build of rocks.
