David Gower To Make Bollywood Debut With Akki-Starrer 'Patiala House'Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar, who is basking in the success of his latest film Housefull, is ready for the next venture 'Patiala House' with David Gower.

David will be making his Bollywood debut with 'Patiala House'.

Akki is very thrilled about this film in which he plays the character of a British Sikh corner shop worker from Southall and also has his foot in bowling and ambitions of playing for England.

'Patiala House' will also feature small appearances by former England skippers John Emburey, Graham Gooch and Nasser Hussain.

Also, Indian rapping sensation Hard Kaur will play the role of Akki's sister in the film.

Kaur will also sing two songs for the film.

The shooting of the flick will take place at places such as the Oval, Lord's and Tent Bridge and Southall after shooting in India for several months at a Mumbai studio where Southall has been recreated.

Akshay has already started his training in bowling with the likes of Balwinder Singh Sandhu, a member of the Indian Cricket team that won the World Cup in England in 1983 and Paras Mhambrey, a former Indian test cricketer, who is currently the bowling coach for 'Mumbai Indians'.

The film is likely to hit theatres in November 2010, and hope that viewers get a chance to see Akshay in a new avatar in a power packed performance. (With Inputs from Agencies)
