Deep Industries wins order worth Rs 22.99 crore from ONGC

Deep Industries wins order worth Rs 22.99 crore from ONGCAhmedabad-based Deep Industries has secured an order worth Rs 22.99 crore from Oil and Natural Gas Corp for natural gas compressors.

The company stated in a communiqué that ONGC has awarded them two contracts worth Rs 22.99 crore. The Ankleshwar order is worth Rs 3.28 crore while, the Mehsana contract is valued at Rs 19.71 crore.

Deep Industries Limited operates as a diversified oil and gas company with business interests in air and gas compression, drilling, and work over rigs. It offers various contract compression services, including supply of equipment, commissioning, and operation and maintenance services

In recently announced results, Deep Industries' net profit soared 68.9% to Rs 7.65 crore , while it registered growth of 67.3% in its sales to Rs 33.50 crore in the year ended March 2009, against the year ended March 2008.

The stock opened flat at Rs 57 but soon soared to a high of Rs 65.10. However, it finally settled the day at Rs 63. The counter has clocked a volume of 237,584 shares on the BSE during today's session.
