Delhi Govt Will Support Opportunities Explored By Women: Sheila DixitDelhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has promised women that her administration will back up all the novel opportunities explored by country's women.

On Friday, while talking to media persons on the sidelines of a programme organized prior to International women's Day, Sheila stated, "My message on the Women''s Day is that display your strength and ability, explore new opportunities and we will help you with them."

International Women's day is being celebrated on March 8.

Sheila also danced together with large numbers of women when she was called on the stage to perform a jig by famous folk singer Ila Arun.

Delhi's Health Minister Kiran Walia also took part in the occasion.

Women across the country are keenly awaiting March 08, the day when the Rajya Sabha, accepts the long-awaiting Women's Reservation Bill for discussion.

The Rajya Sabha Business Advisory team has lined up Women's Reservation Bill for discussion on Mar 08, coinciding with the International Women's Day.

On February 25, the Indian cabinet sanctioned the Women's Reservation Bill that offers up 33% of reservation for women in elective bodies. (With Input from Agencies)
