Dipika eases through third round

Dipika PallikalThe top-seeded Dipika Pallikal of India has stormed into the third round of the 13th Junior World Women's Individual Squash Championship after defeating American Natasha Kingshott at the ICL Academy courts in Chennai on Wednesday.

Dipika lost only six points in her second round match and she raced away with the match against Natasha by 11-5 11-1 11-4 in just 20 minutes.

This was first match for Dipika in the tournament as she got bye in the first round along with three other players including second seeded Heba El Torky of Egypt, third seeded Laura Gemmel of Canada and fourth seeded Nour El Tayeb of Egypt

After winning the match, Dipika said that she was not having any specific plan for the match and she wants to win the tournament to give something back to the academy, where she started her carrier in squash.

Meanwhile, the ninth seeded Indian Aditya Jagtap was thumped by Mexico's Zarazua 8-11, 7-11, 4-11 in just 32 minutes.
