Doctors grant a month to the Government- Orissa
The state government was granted another month with regards to the ongoing issues concerning the dynamic assured career progression (DACP) demand. This was stated in a report from the executive committee meeting held by the Orissa Medical Services Association (OMSA) on March 19.
A meeting which witnessed 60 representatives from all its district-level units across the state along with their state-level office-bearers has decided to hold the proceedings till April 18.
It also has made clear of no 'in-between' meetings will take place concerning the same matter.
The executive committee members voiced out their opinions stating, "However, before the deadline if nothing positive materializes, then we will be forced to assume that our earlier stand of en masse resignation holds good".
Prior to this a small committee of OMSA met Prasanna Acharya, Health and Family Welfare Minister who gave positive affirmations on solving the case at the earliest.
In lieu of this statement, OMSA has granted an extension for a month to the administration.
