Fortis Hospitals has made announcement about the launching of a Community Arogya Program (CAP) at Seshadripuram, Bangalore.

The week-long program was inaugurated by Governor Rameshwar Thakur.

Starting from May 13, CAP aims to make people aware about the value of early detection, prevention as well as knowledge regarding a range of health problems.

Fortis launched the Fortis Golden Age Club, to provide affordable health care services to senior citizens. The governor presented film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar the first Fortis Golden Age membership.

Moreover, the program also includes a complete medical checkup for the whole week between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During the occasion, Mr. Thakur also launched the ‘Fortis Golden Age Club’, which will   offer up health care services to senior citizens at affordable costs.

The governor presented the first Fortis Golden Age membership to film maker Parvathamma Rajkumar.

The members of club will be offered discounts in treatment and free ambulance service at the hospital.

While lecturing during the occasion, Mr. Bhavdeep Singh, CEO-Fortis Healthcare, stated that the initiative will encourage aged couples to step up and take full advantage of the facilities.
